What is PCOD & PCOS?
 
PCOD or PCOS is a condition that affects women’s ovaries, the reproductive organs that produce progesterone and estrogen hormones that help in regulating the menstrual cycle and also produce small amounts of hormones inhibin, relaxin, and male hormones called androgens.
There are almost 10% of women in the world suffer from PCOD. Females with PCOS have higher levels of male hormones compared to women with PCOD. In addition to skipping menstrual periods, this imbalance makes getting pregnant much more difficult for them.
