Intervet Prednisolone Injection Suspension For Dogs & Cats has proved to be highly effective in the treatment of acetonemia in cattle (bovine ketosis). Following the injection of prednisolone crystalline suspension, the blood glucose level is restored to normal in short time, appetite and milk yield improves, and circulating ketone bodies return to a normal level. It is 3 to 5 times more active than hydrocortisone, (Natural cortisones) but does not affect mineral balance as that of the other potent corticosteroids.
